I woke up early on my day off to meet up with my uncle in Heber Springs, AR, for breakfast. I was hoping for a sunrise drive but got a dreary one instead. I didn't mind the look of it though. I stopped for a few country shots on the way up. And on the way back home, as I drove over Greers Ferry Dam, I noticed the fog on the river below and all of the colorful trees that filled the surrounding hills. So, I took the time to photograph what I saw from a couple of different angles. One of those angles took me to a spot I had not been before today. It took me to the base of the dam where there was a path that led me down to the rocky shore of the river where I found a fisherman. My luck, he wore yellow which nicely complimented the fall foliage offshore.
